Christmas In July Day 4: Piggy Paint!

Piggy Paint was created by a Stay-At-Home mom who hated the thought of her little girls putting their hands in their mouths with traditional nail polishes on their nails and the smell that lingered after all nails were finished.
One story she shares on their site:
"One day while we were painting nails over a foam plate, my daughter dropped a glob of her solvent-based polish onto the plate. Shortly after, the paint began to bubble and ate through the plate. I looked in dismay at the hole in the plate and decided to test all of her other kid polishes on the foam. Within minutes, ALL of the solvent-based polishes began to bubble and eventually left big holes in the plate. From that day on, I decided that any flammable substance that could eat through foam was unacceptable for my children's fingernails, which would inevitably end up in their mouths."

I'm such a girlie girl, I SQUEALED (hehe sorry I couldn't resist) with delight when I received:~ my "Girls Rule!" nail polish

They are so cute! I don't have a daughter, so I got the joy of testing out this product on... MYSELF! (Yippee!) In order to do so, I needed to remove my nail salon pedicure... Bring on the sandblaster right? Wrong! The Piggy Paint nail polish remover took it right off and best of all, I didn't get a headache from remover fumes! (There is a slight smell but nothing like my Sally Hensen Polish Remover) I then painted both my nails (fresh from acrylic nail removal) and toenails in the cute pinkish purple paint. Sadly (I believe due to my damage nails) the polish on my fingers only lasted a few days but two weeks later, my toenails still look FAB! I love the color too! Even though the line was made with girls in mind, as a woman and mom, I will totally be sporting my Piggy Polish!
Melanie, the mom behing the paint, was awesome enough to offer me a discount code for 15% off for ALL of my readers AND a $20 giftcode towards Piggy Paint for one of you lucky girls to win!
