trouble brewing
its that time of year again, when jen gets into her head that she can have a plant last more than a month without killing it, and buys plants, seeds and other greenery.
today i took a very soggy trip out to dobbies, and bought a venus fly trap, a bonsai and some seeds (and also some greenfly killer, as the little buggers have invested my windowsill.)
i have also been crafting, namely an entry to a competition including customising one of Doktor A (very steam punk style)'s mechtorian figures. this invloves sculpting very ting rats to run in a wheel (the first rats were too big, and they were about thumbnail size). will post pictures when the paint job is done, but for two days work, it's looking really rather good. though i've stuck my fingers together with glue more times than i care to repeat, snapped two of my scaple blades and learnt a lot about what-vinyl-does-when-you-try-to-cure-scu
